Product Brand：U-240

This product is an intumescent halogen-free flame retardant which is made with N-P composites. It is specifically applied to varieties of flame retardant polypropylene, and can reach UL94-V0(3.0-1.5mm) 、UL94 5VA and also can pass 850℃ glow-wire test.

Applications

This product is especially used in PP and suitable for use in extrusion.
Typically dosage: 25-30% in PP achieves UL 94 V-0(3.0-1.5mm). 35-38% in PP achieves UL94 5VA(3.0mm). 33-35% in PP achieves GWIT 850℃(3.0mm).

Processing

The twin-screw extruder`s processing temperature should not be too high(below 230℃),otherwise it can easily cause a small amount of flame retardant decomposition and causes mild foaming. Meanwhile, we should maintain a certain vacuum in order to make the material more stable.

Package

The product is available in 25Kg plastic bags.

Storage and handling:

The product is stable if maintained in the original bags and in a dry place at room temperature.

Handle the product in compliance with good industrial practice avoiding dust formation.
